Happy Halloween, y’all!

I had big plans for Butterlust on Halloween this year. It is, after all, my favorite holiday (Ok, tied with Chrismas).  But somehow, time managed to fly by and here I sit, empty handed. Not a single spooky recipe of my own to share with you this year. #fail

Instead, I’m going to share some of my ghoulish/scary/spooktacular favorites from around the blogosphere. You’ve still got time to get baking before this weekend’s Halloween celebrations! Have a great day and safe trick or treating!

Kristan’s Halloween Hi-Hat Cupcakes – hi-hat just sounds sophisticated, doesn’t it?

Annie’s Super Spooky Eye Ball Cupcakes – the photo says it all!

Shelley’s Vampire Bat Cake – obsessed with the creepy blood drips!

Sugarbelle’s Silly Spider and Bat Cookies – works of art! Cute/spooky/adorable/Halloweeny art!

Peabody’s Bourbon Brown Sugar Pumpkin Seeds – boozy and sweet pumpkin seeds? I’m in!

Christina’s Pumpkin Butter + Wheat Whiskey Jam Cocktail – only 3 ingredients but such a classy Halloween cocktail!

Sara’s Nutella Banana Mommy Rolls – perfect treat for the kids!

Heather’s Corpse Bride Blue Velvet Cake – she is so talented, this cake blows my mind!

Tieghan’s Sweet and Salty Bourbon Cinnamon Pecan Caramel Apples + Chocolate Drizzle – droooooool.

Emily’s Red Velvet Dia De Los Muertos Cake – such a great spin on a classic cake mold!

Darla’s Monster Claw Cupcakes – maybe my favorite of the year, especially the Fuzzy Claws!

Naomi’s Pumpkin S’more Doughnut Muffins – pumpkin makes these count as a Halloween treat right? They’re just so beautiful I had to include them!
